Need to activate a temporary phone?
Today, my lg cosmos touch phone broke. It works but the screen is completely black so I can only use the keypad to call. I got an env2 for a temporary phone until my new one comes in, but I don’t know how to activate it and keep all of my contacts. I have backup assistant on my phone, though. I tried getting on verizon’s website but I can’t get an account because I can’t read the text with the password code. How can I activate this phone and keep all of my contacts?

I would suggest you take both phone to the Verizon store and see if they can help you with this problem.

Is it safe to charge an ipod using a cell phone charger?
I have a LG cell phone charger that goes with my LG Cosmos which has a removable USB cord. I can take out the cord that is used to charge my cell phone from the wall adapter and exchange it with a cord used to charge my ipod touch. Is that safe for my ipod to charge it using the phone charger? (the cell phone wall adapter has an output of 5.1v)

Haha why would you want to do all that experimenting? You could mess up something in your iPods voltage and maybe cause it to not charge properly in the future, making your battery weaker..C’mon let’s not try to be scientists and charge it the normal way with the appropriate iPod wall charger or usb cable?(=

My contract is up, and I know what phone I want. Should I get it now or wait for better ones?
I have Verizon. I only want a feature phone, and currently I have the LG Voyager. My phone is in pretty good condition. I’m 13, but I think my mom wants my Voyager because she can’t decide which phone she wants. I do kinda want a new phone. I’m just worried I’ll get one I hate. I seem to like the LG Cosmos Touch. Should I get it tomorrow or wait a bit? P.S. My contract is up in 2 weeks, but I can use my mom’s.

Looking for a new phone…Kin TWOm?
My family is now eligible for a phone upgrade, and thus, I am looking for a new phone.
My parents won’t pay for a data plan, and I have no money to pay for one, so that limits me to the feature phones (and not even all of those).
I absolutely 100% need a phone that has a QWERTY keyboard and a halfway decent camera…so I was looking at the Kin TWOm since as I understand, it does not require a data plan, but has wifi capabilities and a web browser so I would be able to use the internet anyway, plus, it’s got a QWERTY keyboard and an 8 megapixel camera.
Any input on the phone?
Other possibilities are the:
- LG Cosmos Touch (though that camera sucks)
- Pantech Crux
- LG Octane

OMGSH i am having the same problem! Haha i need a new phone and i can upgrade as well.I I like the Crux b/c of the touch screen and the 3 mp! But the virtual keyboard is a downside for me. I rather had a button keyboard
The Octane looks really good! Everything about the phone is perfect but the only downside is that it’s not as techy and other phones. I feel like even though it’s technically a NEW phone I would feel like i have an old one. The camera is a great plus! 3.2 mp! MOst new phones has crappy cameras.
The Cosmo touch i really liked too because it seems great for texting and the touch screen makes it seem techy 
but a downside is the camera. A 1.3 mp! That’s just horrible! My voyager and my old enV2 have 2 mp!
Las but not least the Kin TWOm! Gosh this phone looks amazing! The wifi seems great especially b/c it doesnt require the data plan. It’s techy and nice and it looks cute and the way i’ve seen online through pics and stuff you can have this like page that have your friend’s pictures and when you press the picture it gives you the option to call or textb and stuff. I also read when you recieve a txt, a bubble pops next to thee person’s photo! SO CUTE! >.< haha Great camera too!! 8 mp!! And it have a slide keyboard! It seems great for texting! I hope i get the KIN. I think you should too!!
***Side not: the KIN is a WINDOWS phone so it runs on Windows Mobile 7 so make sure you have windows!***

Verizon env 3 cell phone?
My cell phone company is Verizon, I have a lg cosmos touch, I want a env3 but I don’t have the data plan that let’s me use the Internet on my phone for Verizon that costs like $20 a month. If I get the env 3 do I have to have the Internet plan? or can I stay without it. Thanks!

Yes, you’ll have to have a data plan $10 or higher with that phone.
