Hey bookworms: The West Palm Beach Public Library now has you covered, no matter where you go. its GoMobile service allows you to search the catalog and conduct library business from your Web-enabled cellphone.
According to the library, users can:
- Search the library’s catalog for books, music, movies, video games and more.
- Instantly place holds on materials to pick up at a later time
- Easily visit your library account to renew materials
- Immediately connect to all of the latest events at your library.
The address is a bit complicated, so you’ll want to bookmark it right away: m.millie.wpbpl.com. to actually put an item on hold or renew materials, users must enter the credentials found on their library cards.
Not yet registered? Cards are available to anyone who lives, learns, works or plays in the city of West Palm Beach, according to the library’s website.
