Here below is an very interesting slide put up up by Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse, who took to the stage at the Open Mobile Summit in San Francisco to talk about the latest trends in the arena.
In the “open continuum,” Hesse places his wireless carrier nearer to the middle, while competitors are closer to the closed end.
The most open “anything goes” side is uncharted territory.
Still, in a Q&A with BoomTown after his speech, Hesse noted that among the handset makers, Google was on that wilder end, while Apple sat on the other pole completely.
